Sean currently advises growing companies in the Seattle technology and Dallas/Houston energy markets. After working in the Middle East for 8+ years in the energy and defense sector, Sean recently returned to the US to shift focus on advising and getting involved in young companies to pass on critical lessons learned through 17+ years of international business. Sean began his capital market experience at Merrill Lynch. There, he assisted on debt and equity financing efforts for companies in the telecom and oilfield services industries. His international deal experience includes total transactions worth over $7 billion. Prior to his experience at Merrill Lynch, Sean was a Captain in the United States Army, serving in the 82nd Airborne & 1st Armored Divisions in Germany, Bosnia, & Iraq. Sean also currently advises an early stage investment group open to Harvard Alumni in select sectors from early to late stage financing opportunities. Sean graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Civil Engineering, and received an MA in Mathematics, from Harvard University.
